Christoff Jones
Christoff joined the SAPS in 1990 and in 1993 became a member of the elite Special Task Force. He received training in Hostage Release, Rural Operations and Survival, Executive Protection, Emergency Diving, Improvised Explosives and Devices, Sniper, Advanced Driving and other specialized training. Christoff operated as an Instructor in weapons, Rural, Survival, Sniping and Parachuting. He gained invaluable knowledge and experience during this 13 years in SAPS, furthering experience in Tactical Operations both Urban and Rural as well as Executive Protection Operations. He then spent 7 years in Iraq where he gained even more experience as a PSD Operator and Team Leader. Christoff is also a registered Assessor and Moderator with CATHSSETA in Professional Hunting and obtained no less than 127 Unit Standards with SASSETA. He is an Advanced Level Instructor, PFTC Assessor and Moderator and a registered Tutor with HABC in Level 3 Protection, Conflict Management, Control and Restraint and Physical Intervention. He is a valuable asset to the Group with his experience and knowledge base.
