This course is presented in three categories: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, and succeeds the Urban Survival Course as basis. Subject matter experts are drawn into presenting these courses based in the level of experience of the course participants. These courses are demanding but invaluable for the day to day situations people are faced with in terms of crime, and focus on how to effectively deal with simulated real-life scenarios in a controlled environment.
This course is specifically for fire-arm owners who want to upskill towards the current threat levels within our societal confines and follows on the CUS course. The course is demanding but designed to accommodate civilians. You will learn how to act in response to a close quarter life threat, within the confines of the law and how to effectively stop these types of attacks to your person effectively and efficiently.

- The SA Law and Fire Arms
- Personal analysis and assessment
- Concealed and open carry / Fire-arm safety concepts
- Practical application inclusive of mathematical shooting exercises
- Fire-arm handling and knowledge
- Target acquiring and shot placement
- Defending under stress
- Movements and Stances
Requirements:
- Own fire-arm to be used - or make arrangements with instructor
- Course members to wear comfortable everyday clothing
- Personal protection equipment (safety / shooting glasses and ear protection)
- Sunscreen, hats and personal dietary requirements
- Reasonable fitness is required as the course is physically intensive
- Ammunition quantity per person: (To be provided by each participant)
